Despite the hot day at 3pm, hundreds of parishioners attended Way of the Cross around the perimeter of the church. The day started with the Novena of the Divine Mercy at 2pm and followed by Way of the Cross at 3pm. Fr. Clement Lim led the ministry, BECS, parishioners and the people by carrying the cross from the altar of the church to the First Station. People took turns and carried the traditional cross, accompanied by a choir.

After Way of the Cross, Celebration of the Lord’s Passion was held in the church with Liturgy of Words. It was then followed by the dramatic unveiling of Crucifix – emphasizing Jesus’ death on the Cross that day. People are then invited to come forward, kneel before the Crucifix and kiss the feet of Jesus.
